Sarah is a freelance writer and a domestic goddess-in-training. In a classic “opposites attract” scenario, this young suburbanite fell for a country boy and has been learning about a new kind of life ever since. They may be out of the country now, but the country is still a major force in Sarah’s life, will-she, nil-she. Sarah is also senior at the University of Colorado at Denver Health Sciences Center, where she is studying writing to further her career.

Jerry is a party DJ and construction contractor. Despite the dichotomy between his chosen professions, he has skill and connections in both fields. He’s also the father of a beautiful little girl, which is far more important to him. His business in the Front Range area is growing steadily (when the blizzards don’t bury his equipment) and he’s looking forward to the chaotic boom of summer.
